Stephanie Meyer - Twilight

So, last night I went out to see Stephanie Meyer the author of the Twilight series. It was great! Because I was with a group made up of people who work at the publishing company and my roommate who works at a bookstore, we were able to get perfect seats right next to the stage! The place was crowded with teenage girls and it was crazy! A lot of people couldn't even get in! Everyone was screaming and going nuts. She only talked for about fifteen minutes, answering a few questions then she started signing books. And if you've read the books, and want to know Edward likes boxer-briefs! Yes, someone asked that! And she said she's been asked that a lot...lol... A lot of people made t-shirts and posters. It was lots of fun, I got all three books signed by her! But it was kinda odd at the same time because me, my roommate, her friends, and her friend's friends were some of the oldest fans there! But I could understand the young girls screaming. I know if I was that age I'd probably be acting the same way, though in a more subdued way, I never was a screamer. LOL....
Also, I got chapter 11 of Live and Love (one of my CSI fanfics) finished and posted this morning. It's very emotional, but happy, finally! lol.
So, this is another happy entry here, which is good, considering my other blog is dark and is usually used to vent frustrations and just me being mad at the world, which no one wants to read. So, I'm going to do my best to keep this on the other side of things.
ok, I'm off to go check out Stephanie's website where they have t-shirts for sale. I don't need any, and technically, they are a What Not To Wear (according to Stacy London and Clinton Kelly from the tv show on TLC). But I do want to see what they've got. Maybe there's more than shirts? Ha, right...I don't have a job, so I can't buy anything...lol...gotta love life...
