Thanks to Laura, I am going to resurrect this Discussion. Unfortunately, I won't be actively participating in Halloween this year. I will be dressing up so to speak, but I will be in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. I'll be at Basic Training until after Christmas. So, NO HALLOWEEN for me this year. My little boy will be dressing up as a monkey though. Hopefully I'll get some great pictures of that and will post them sometime during xmas exodus..... Ya'll have a terrific, haunted, goulish, Halloweenie...
So, what is everyone doing for this spooky, ooky, not so celebrated holiday?
What are you doing? Trick or Treating, maybe? Dressing up? Handing out tricks and treats?
Throwing a no-holds-bar smashing groovy party?

I am actually going to dress up for school and then I'm taking my son trick or treating in the evening. I'm going to dress up as THE WICKED WITCH OF THE EAST (bc we don't really know what she looked like) and my son is going to be THE FROG PRINCE (ya know the prince that was turned into a frog and had to have the kiss from the princess).
So, what are ya'll doing?
Hope someone gets some fun, humorous videos.

Okay, So, no one out there is doing the whole HALLOWEEN thing????
Come on guys... someone has to have plans....
Maybe some one is going to throw a groovin' party with a theme like:
everyone has to come as a farm animal... or maybe.... everyone has to dress as
their favorite sex toy... or hey I know... everyone has to come dressed as either big
bird or a smurf....
So, what's everyone doing?
I think I need to start planning Halloween parties... I can come up with some great ideas....
(MUSE your party theme planner) Sound good....enough...
LOL

Sounds like you'll have lots of fun! I, myself, must work until 8pm that night. However, I am thinking of dressing up as a pirate for work that day, so the spirit won't be totally lost
I'll have a bloody mary cocktail in your honor, MUSE ;-)

I didn't get to do anything for Halloween over band. We had a football game that was like miles and miles away and then the next day we had a marching competition which we got 4th place....thats rare for berryville....we usually place 1st or 2nd.

My school threw a campus-wide party. We call it hallo-greens because it's halloween on the schools townhouse greens. There is tons of jungle juice around every corner, everyone is dressed up, and there is plenty of tricks and treats. There is a similar festivity that takes place around mardi gras. Can't wait!

Halloween is my favorite day out of the whole year, but this year I'm not handing candy out or anything.

I'm directing/choreographing/being Columbia in "The Rocky Horror Show." If anybody is in SE Michigan, come see us! We do the completely live stage version and it's awesome.
